Bio

A little history.

At school I was known as the 'art guy'. I would paint pictures with photoshop, post them on forums and build websites to display my work. This led me to study Digital Media at the College of Fine Arts and after graduation, I worked as a video game artist - building 3D models, texturing environments and designing characters.

In 2006 I went back to University to get my Masters degree (Commerce, majoring in marketing) and then travelled Asia, specifically Singapore, China and Mongolia. I now work as a web designer and marketing co-ordinator here in sunny Sydney Australia.

When I'm not drawing or designing, I can be found pursuing my interests in travel, film and photography.

Ethos

The best design is invisible. I strive to create work that communicates well using a mix of clean design, clear copy and simple usability.

Skills

This site was built using Coda, HTML and CSS. I've used the simple, ubiquitous yet elegant font, Georgia. CSS3 is in use for font effects and jQuery for animated fades.

My other skills include graphic design, brand strategy, copywriting, SEO/SEM, and content management system experience (Joomla and Wordpress).
