The power of video branding
If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is a video worth?
Edward Kwok is a portrait photographer based in Sydney, Australia. His work has been published online on PhotoVogue, HUF Magazine, Estela Magazine, Fashion Shift Magazine, Fashionising, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and news group agencies.
The Challenge
I was tasked to produce a series of behind-the-scenes videos of Edward's photoshoots that would be used to help promote his personal brand and act as supplementary material for digitorial submissions to fashion publications.
Digital video has been growing rapidly and is no longer a complement but a necessity for companies to take their brand to the next level. Video has the power to inform, entertain, communicate messages or in this case an emotion. Each photoshoot had a distinct theme that I expanded on through cinematography, music and type design.
