Refreshing the Campus Morning Mail

Campus Morning Mail is an independent newsletter written and published by Stephen Matchett, formerly a long-serving journalist at The Australian newspaper. I was approached by the Higher Education Consulting Group (HECG) to refresh the Campus Morning Mail website and newsletter. HECG is a strategy and consulting group led by David Wright, former Vice President and Executive of Macquarie University.

Web Design

I provided design mockups for the website and newsletter, adding a modern, clean, corporate look that would appeal to CMM's existing subscriber base. Careful selection of fonts enhanced readability and draw inspiration from a traditional news media brand identity.

The site was designed with a mobile first responsive approach, collapsing across various browser and device sizes for a better user experience

I also assisted with front-end development using the bootstrap framework. The site was built on the Wordpress platform by Johanna Follet.
